Repair Process
The Repair Process
Our repair process is designed to work efficiently while still repairing your car to the best condition possible. The process has 10 steps.
Step 1: The Estimate
First, the vehicle will be inspected and all relevant data will be entered into our system. This data is then used to generate an estimate of the cost of repairs. There may be damage that is not revealed until the repair process begins, so estimates are subject to change.
Step 2: Insurance
After the estimate is generated, the insurance company will review it. During this time, the insurance company will determine if the vehicle is repairable, and may negotiate on price and procedures required to fix the vehicle. Then, they grant their approval.
Step 3: Disassembly
The damaged parts of the vehicle will be taken apart and the damage assessed. Inner structure repairs are determined, and hidden damage may be found. During this phase, insurance re-inspection may be required and additional parts may need to be ordered.
Step 4: Preparation
Any required parts are ordered and availability is checked. Special orders are placed as quickly as possible. The repair process cannot begin until all parts have been received.
Step 5: Structure Repair
The frame of the vehicle is repaired and the body is returned to factory specifications. We use a computer-based measurement system to analyze the frame and ensure an accurate repair, and use a measuring system to monitor all phases.
Step 6: Body Repair
Once the frame of the vehicle is ready, exterior panels and metal finishing are then replaced.
Step 7: Painting
We use state-of-the-art technology to match new paint to the factory colors. All panels are prepared, primed and sealed for proper adhesion. Then, the final top color and clear coats of paint are applied.
Step 8: Reassembly
Once the paint has dried, final moldings and detail pieces are reattached. All the vehicle’s systems are checked and the vehicle is ensured to be in good working condition
Step 9: Detailing
The vehicle is cleaned and road tested to ensure it is ready for pick up. A final inspection is conducted and the vehicle is determined to be in its pre-accident condition.
Step 10: Pick Up
Once the vehicle is ready to be picked up, the customer is contacted. When the customer arrives for the vehicle, the bill is explained and the final paperwork is completed.
